Circular Driving Routes
around Mandavy
Route #1
Map
Turn
RIGHT from Mandavy then RIGHT again when you reach the D19. Keep heading towards
Limogne. At Limogne
keep on the D19 NORTH towards Cajarc. As you come into Cajarc look for the D682
on your LEFT. Follow this along the river Lot towards Cahors. Beautiful! After
10ish kilometers you will see signs for St Cirq-Lapopie on the LEFT. Cross river
& visit the village.
Take your time, there's lots to see. When finished go back across the river &
continue to Cahors. Park in one of the large lots
in the town center & walk into the old city. Good places for a meal abound.
Don't forget to follow along the river to the old bridge.
when finished get onto the N20 SOUTH. From this point follow the route described
on the DIRECTIONS PAGE.

Back to the D19 &
turn LEFT. Then LEFT onto the D33 to Pouylagarde. Straight through the village
to the D926 junction & turn RIGHT. Take the D33 Parisot turning on the LEFT. You
will start to pass Parisot on your right. Take a LEFT turn onto the D84 towards
Najac. ( about a mile along on the left is Lac Parisot with swimming, tennis,
boating & a snack bar.) Continue to Najac; the scenery is great all the way.
Visit Najac; there are nice shops & inexpensive restaurants as well as the
views. Return the way you came re-crossing the river. Shortly thereafter take
the D149 on the RIGHT. Follow signs to Monteils. At Monteils head towards
Vailhouries. There are a number of routes through the countryside. You will end
up back on the D926. Take this towards Parisot & then take the Pouylagarde
turning towards home.

Back to the D19 via
St Projet to Caylus. In Caylus go RIGHT on the D926 towards Caussade. After
about 8-10KM take the LEFT turn for Servanac. Go though the village towards St
Antonin. (At the D5 turn LEFT) Visit St Antonin, then cross the river & take the
D115 LEFT through the tunnel. Follow this along the river to the D922 towards
Villefranche. From Villefranche take the D926 back to home via Pouylagarde. Lots
of scenery on this route & lots of options on the way back if you have decent
maps.
