Cordes
Cordes is one of the fairytale villages perched right at the top of a high
premonitory. Very steep cobbled narrow streets with ancient houses lining them.
Lots of shops & lots of people in the summer season, crowded. But for all that
still a must visit sort of place.

Local theatre company. Very good if your French is up to it, fun even if it
isn't!

Huge big leisure center past Cordes a bit. Fun for children. The Tour de France
will do a time trial from Gaillac to here this July.

Albi
Albi
is the ancestral home of Toulouse-Lautrec and as such has a nice museum &
gallery dedicated to his work. The old central area is very beautiful and has a
good selection of shops & restaurants. There is some kind of market virtually
every day.

you're French is up to it the French version is great.

Gaillac
Although the town of Gaillac is not particularly fascinating it lies in the
heart of the Gaillac wine country. There are lots of wineries you can visit,
doing a tasting & buy from. Many of the wineries are small & not too commercial,
but their welcome always seems warm. Great way to spend some time, especially if
you've planned in a nice lunch!
